I used to work for a start-up as a PM and designer in the mean time. We had strict deadlines, a limited budget, and high expectations from our investors.

ABOUT UI / UX DESIGN

I was in charge of doing the Project Management and Designer work. It was quite challenging for our team to develop all the necessary functions within such a restricted timeframe. I had to communicate with my client, boss and inventors maake sure what we can trade in the kickoff meeting; write the Product Requirement Doc. and Functional Spec in order to deal with the wireframe and prototype efficiently, and finally discussing with my RD after I finished my part based on "The One PR Per Day Rule". (It's also useful in this phase​​​​​​​)

I was in charge of making the visual identity system for this startup in the beginning. Since the slogan of our startup is "Just Enjoy the Show", I created a rocket as a logo to express the meaning of jet. 

Besides, the different colors meant the roles who participate in our matchmaking, and the typography gave us a feeling of speed and energy. To sum up, during the time of producing the system and Visual identity system subsequent creations, I had a better understanding of visual design field.
